Rape accused Bitti Mohanty arrested in Kerala: report - Hindustan Times

Former DGP of Odisha, BB Mohanty's absconding son Bitti Mohanty was arrested by Kerala police on Friday evening. Kerala police is yet to confirm whether the arrested person is Bitti. Bitti Mohanty, who was sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment for raping in German tourist in Alwar, Rajasthan, jumped parole and was absconding since 2006. According to reports, Bitti was working in a bank in Kannur, and was arrested for impersonation. He was arrested after the bank filed a complained against him.
