Pakistan has strongly rejected an accusation from India that militants who killed five CRPF jawans came from across the de facto border. AFP PHOTO Making a statement in the Lok Sabha on the terror attack in which five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed, he said the two unidentified terrorists took advantage of a small gap in the fencing at the police public school in Bemina area to enter the compound, mingle with the youth there and open fire.
Shinde said about 50 CRPF personnel of the 73 Battalion were present at the school for further deployment when the incident occurred. He said two AK rifles, five magazines, two pistols and four grenades were among the recoveries made from the slain terrorists. An ointment tube recovered from the slain militants was found to have been manufactured in Karachi, while diaries with phone numbers had also been found. "It is suspected to be of Pakistani origin," he said, adding that the attackers were fidayeen "suspected to be of foreign origin". The home minister said responsibility for the attack had been taken by an agent of Hizbul Mujahideen but the authenticity of the claim was yet to be ascertained. ![]() via Top Stories - Google News http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&fd=R&usg=AFQjCNE5vawVAMN9v_pGwPd3EY6XVqC4Dw&url=http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/NewDelhi/Srinagar-terrorists-foreigners-had-Pakistan-made-items-on-them-home-minister-Shinde/Article1-1026253.aspx | |||
