Maharashtra: Bus going from Goa to Mumbai falls into a river, 37 dead - IBNLive

Mumbai: At least 37 people were killed when a bus on its way from Goa to Mumbai fell into a river near the Khed junction in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra on Tuesday morning. At least 17 passengers have also been injured with five of them stated to be in critical condition.

Initial reports suggest the bus driver lost control on the Jagudi bridge. The bus fell into the Jagbudi river near Khed at around 3.30 am.

Officials say that the rescue operation is over and traffic has been cleared on the route.
