Bhopal: Kasturba Gandhi hospital ceiling collapses, many trapped - IBN Live - IBNLive

Bhopal: The ceiling of a hospital in the BHEL township of Bhopal collapsed on Friday evening. Close to 20 people are feared trapped under the debris at Kasturba Gandhi hospital which is run by BHEL.

Sources said that close to 4 people had been rescued.

While the rescue operations are still underway, there have been no casualties so far.

The rescue operations are still underway and 4 people have been rescued so far. The hospital is run by BHEL.

"One child is trapped inside. He is alive. There has been no deaths so far," the Bhopal IG said. He added that the building was old which perhaps led to the collapse.

Some of the patients at the hospital have been evacuated to other hospitals.
