Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday threw back the ball for formation of government in Delhi in Congress and BJP's court.

Coming out after meeting the Lt Governor (LG), Kejriwal said that he has written a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi and BJP president Rajnath Singh asking them to spell their views on as many as 17 issues, including passing of jan lokpal bill at Ramlila Maidan on December 29, audit of power discoms and ending the water mafia.

Kejriwal said he would like to wait for Congress and BJP's response before taking the matter to the people of Delhi. "There is no such thing as unconditional support. We did not ask for Congress' support, if they want to support us here are our conditions," Kejriwal said.

He told reporters that AAP has given copies of these letters to Sonia and Rajnath Singh to the LG.

Kejriwal further said that the LG has agreed to wait for their response.

Highlights from Kejriwal's press meet:

• Neither BJP nor Congress care about Delhi and its people. We wish to unmask them

• We have written letters to Sonia Gandhi, Rajnath Singh. Want to know what is their stand on Lokpal and AAP manifesto

• We can't seek support from corrupt parties for govt formation

• We wrote in the letter we want to know the clear stand of both the parties on the issues we have raised in our manifesto

• All the parties have betrayed Anna. They have fallen back on the promisses they made to him regarding the Lokpal Bill

• We want to know their stand on the jan lokpal bill. We want to pass this bill for Delhi. Will Congress or BJP support us now?

• There should be auditing of companies providing electricity in Delhi. The meters should be chacked. In case of discrepancies, public be paid compensation

• Delhi needs clean drinking water, electricity, proper housing and corruption-free governance. Will Cong, BJP support us in this?
